Hi, Kelly. All of your posts are really interesting. The article “Protect your bicycles,…” was my problem. I am living in an APT, I recently had my bicycle stolen. I mean actually someone stole my bicycle’s two wheels and seat. I was very mad and sad because it was a pretty nice and expensive bicycle. I think bicycle shop also shouldn’t buy the parts of bicycle from thieves. Great post!!

DeleteThe article regarding bicycle theft was a good read. I live in an area that has several communities with younger families and bicycle theft is prevelent for our area. We don't see a high rate of the thefts being caught like in this article, but some people have had luck using social media to recover their bikes.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteReally nice articles--I loved that they came from the Carolinas too! These were all intriguing, especially the one about teachers. I have found that many places are treating teachers poorly (and the low pay doesn't help) so that could also be why the amount of teachers are decreasing. I also found that the stolen bicycle article is very true. One of my friends at UF had his bicycle stolen within the first 2 weeks of moving to Gainesville. I wish there was some way to prevent that..better locks, cameras, etc.
Overall a really great blog post!
