My Exit Strategy

The exit strategy I plan to make is to leave my idea out there and hope that someone eventually invents my venture.
I selected this particular exit strategy because I myself am not passionate about technology and creating an application, so therefore can not see myself following through with my application.
I do believe my exit strategy may have had a little influence on the other decisions I've made in my concept. I believe this too be true because I was never fully committed to seeing the complete construction of my application which may have let me cut corners. If I was full committed to see the built and use of the application I would have done everything for it's success.

  1. Hi Kelly,

I think you left a very honest exit strategy post--I think it is great that you know what you are and aren't passionate about. It would make no sense to pursue something that you aren't passionate about. Since you never saw your venture coming to life in the beginning it makes sense that you haven't really changed your stance. I feel like there are a lot of inventors and entrepreneurs that have been in your shoes in the past- where they had an idea but didn't want to pursue it fully. They instead would patent it and profit off of the patent if someone wished to develop it in the future. Overall I think you did a great job and congrats on finishing the class!

  2. Hi Kelly!
I love your honesty and sincerity in this post. I think a lot of people are in the same boat as you, in that they had a good idea, but they had no intention on actually carrying out that idea so they didn't take it as far as they needed to. And there's nothing wrong with that! I'm sure you still developed the entrepreneurial mindset along the way, and that's what really matters.

  3. Kelly,
Wow, what a good way to be honest and transparent. I thought that I could definitely agree with you. I definitely can see how having this outlook and exit strategy in mind would effect how you went about with this process. Great job.

  4. Hi Kelly, you did really good work on the assignment. I enjoyed reading your exit strategy; you were very honest. I am not also good and knowledgeable about technology to create an application (my idea was also developing an app). I think the most important thing is you know yourself what is your weakness. I believe you will be success in your business.

  5. Kelly,
I love your honestly and laughed while reading your post. I too was never invested in my venture concept because I have never wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I really hope someone does invent my product. I hope that you have a wonderful break and a great semester in fall! :)
