Testing the Hypothesis, Part 1

Nowadays everybody carry around these stuffed wallets that are filled with tons of credit card that they use daily, this method is very inefficient and can be made more simplistic.
  • The who: Anyone who owns a credit card
  • The what: credit cards
  • The why: Having to carry around huge bulky wallets is inconvenient

I am not declaring this assignment because I do not have access to five people to interview.

  1. Kelly,
My thought is that maybe next time you could call some people even if you know them an interview them or record the call? I feel like you would have gotten some really good feed back because we all deal with the bulky wallet "syndrome" and it is extremely inconvenient.

  2. Hi Kelly!
Sorry to hear about your interviews. I am certainly a person who could benefit from this opportunity simply because my wallet is about the size of a brick from all of my cards. It includes a lot of gift cards that have only like 2 dollars on them too so it is definitely tough to sort out. If you'd like, feel free to take a look at my blog: http://jkilgore25ent.blogspot.com/2016/05/testing-hypothesis-part-1.html

    Thanks for sharing!

  3. What's up Kelly,
I wish you expanded more on your idea because I really think you found an actual need that Ive at least definitely experienced. Having a wallet can really be an inconvenience sometimes because they're usually bulky and sometimes even ruin your cards if you keep it in your back pocket and sit on them enough times. My solution for a wallet was a credit card holder that I can stick on to the back of my phone. Since I can't replace my phone, it turned out to be a very efficient solution. The only problem is if I were to lose my phone, I'd be losing my cards as well.

  4. Kelly,
I did not declare this assignment either because I was out of town and could not interview five people. I also struggle with a bulky wallet, but there is actually a really cool product on the market that combines all of your credit cards into one: https://onlycoin.com/! I'm getting it for my dad for Father's Day :)

  5. Kelly, I think that there is definitely an opportunity behind your blog post. I'm glad you explained your idea even though you were unable to complete the interviews because it is something many of us struggle with. I remember being able to fit wallets in my pockets a few years ago. But pants got tighter and wallets got bigger - this is an issue. I'm not sure what this product design would look like, but it's definitely something that can be "expanded" on.
